William GainerVice President of Estimating
Bill began his career with H. L. Wiker in 1993 as a general laborer. Over the next several years his hard work earned him promotions to Pipe Layer, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Estimator, Estimating Manager and then Director of Estimating. In January 2017, Bill was promoted to Vice President of Estimating. In his current role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of the estimating department including planning, coordinating and the execution of bid opportunities, estimate preparation, final review of estimates, contract negotiations, and customer relations. Bill also serves as a member of the company’s Leadership Team.
Bill describes himself as a very dedicated person and approaches each day with the company’s best interests in mind. He works closely with each estimator to ensure all estimates are accurately prepared by thoroughly analyzing each detail so the most complete, competitive, and timely bid is prepared. Bill prides himself on being very relationship driven and strives to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers. With his emphasis on customer satisfaction, he is very successful at developing new relationships as well as maintaining our current ones.
