Behind the wall, geotextile fabric was laid, clean stone was placed, and a perforated drainpipe was installed.  Restoration work included re-grading of lawn with screened topsoil, seed and fertilize disturbed areas, and straw matting installation.  Landscaping and mulching was done above the wall to beautify our customer’s property.  Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, H.L. As a part of the demolition work, trees surrounding the home were removed. Following the demolition, the basement area was backfilled with fill dirt and topsoil was placed over the entire property. Grass seed was applied over the entire disturbed area. Special attention to safety was needed since the home was located in close proximity to the street and neighboring homes. We then graded, placed stone, and fine graded in preparation for a larger and heavier driveway and parking area. A total of four inches of paving was installed to accommodate the owner’s large truck. Finish work included the placement of screened topsoil along driveway edges so the new construction blended with the existing property grades.
